Message from the CNF Board PresidentÂ
Dear CNF Community,Â
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Child Neurology Foundation (CNF), I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Kim Hindery as Executive Director. Kim brings over 19 years of experience as a dedicated advocate, strategic leader, and champion for children with special healthcare needs and their families.Â
Kim has been an integral part of CNF’s growth and impact, leading initiatives that strengthen partnerships, expand resources, and drive meaningful change within the child neurology community. Under her leadership, CNF has broadened its national reach, deepened collaboration across more than 90 advocacy organizations, and advanced programs that empower families and healthcare professionals alike.Â
A recognized national leader in patient-centered research and healthcare advocacy, Kim has played a pivotal role in shaping family engagement strategies within clinical trials, including the establishment of the I-ACQUIRE Phase 3 Parent Council. She also advises national healthcare organizations, serving on the FDA’s Patient Engagement Advisory Committee and the AACPDM Community Council.Â
Kim’s vision, dedication, and leadership will be instrumental as CNF continues to strengthen its mission, enhance its impact, and support families navigating the challenges of pediatric neurologic conditions. We are confident that her passion and expertise will guide CNF into an exciting new chapter of advocacy, education, and support for our community.Â
Please join us in congratulating Kim on this well-deserved appointment. We look forward to working together to advance our shared mission and continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve.Â
With gratitude,Â
