Be A Neuro Hero | Child Neurology Awareness Day | October 29, 2022

At the Child Neurology Foundation, we are committed to helping children living with neurologic conditions live up to their full potential. 

For more than 20 years, we have done this by collaborating closely with Neuro Heroes of all kinds – caregivers, nurses, patients, doctors, donors, social workers, and more – to produce resources, provide education, support research, and facilitate life-changing connections.

From our Child Neurologist New Visit Toolkit for patients and families who are anxiously starting their journey, to the scholarships and grants we offer for medical students and child neurologists, we are committed to providing the child neurology community with the tools they need to thrive.

This year on Saturday, Oct. 29, we are humbled to recognize the second annual Child Neurology Awareness Day.

The Child Neurology Foundation exists for and because of every #NeuroHero in our community. The 1 in 5 children who live with neurologic conditions inspire us every day to work hard to move the needle for them. The caregivers who live for these children day in and day out remind us that love can get us through the hardest of times. The doctors, nurses, clinicians and medical students give us hope that a brighter future is on the horizon. And our donors – from the families who give monthly to the corporations who are always asking ‘how can we help? – make all of it possible.
