The Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) is organized and administered by the Child Neurology Foundation, with full participation by the Child Neurology Society and its membership. Initial invitations were extended to all current CNF corporate contributors. Invitations will also be extended in the future to other firms which have important interest in the care and management of children with neurologic disorders. Membership dues are provided in the form of unrestricted educational grants which the CNF uses for its scholarship and award program as well as a spectrum of patient advocacy programs.

The CAB was created to provide industry a semi-annual professional forum, plus a menu of other access opportunities to interact formally with Child Neurologists on issues such as professional education, clinical and basic science research, patient education, and public awareness campaigns and projects relating to CNS diseases and disorders in children. Membership is comprised of professional relations representatives, product managers, marketing managers/directors, and public affairs and education representatives from pharmaceutical, medical device, and related industries who have mutual interests in working with Child Neurologists.
