![]() The Child Neurology Foundation (CNF) would like to announce that $30,000 was raised during Infantile Spasms Awareness Week (October 11-17) that will go towards researching the cause and treatment of this ultra-rare form of epilepsy. More
THE CONCEPT To gather outstanding community members including professional athletes and celebrities who have children in their lives with neurologic disorders to lead the way to insure that other families have the same access to quality child neurologic care as they have had. Focusing on the magnitude of the fact that 25% of children in the United States have a neurologic disorder, we want to create a group of people called the Circle of 25 to lead the way to insure that all children have access to the care they need and deserve. We are excited and honored that Alan Faneca of the New York Jets and his wife, Julie Faneca have agreed to take the lead as our Campaign Chairs. The members of this group would lead the way in supporting Child Neurologists by making a commitment to give and/or raise $25,000 and by supporting the recruitment of other families. This monetary commitment could be paid at one time or over the course of up to five years. We believe that having this group of outstanding community members would help us accomplish four significant goals:

The mission of the Child Neurology Foundation is to advocate for children with neurologic disorders, to fund research, to promote child neurology as a career, to foster continuing education and to inform the general public as to the status and value of child neurology services. This mission is carried out thanks to the generosity of our doctors, donors and volunteers. |
